£340k PLUS Legal Costs. A Fvcking Disgrace.

So, eight hours of questioning yesterday, quite rightly, by a Scottish Parliamentary Committee, a lot of which centred on the Scottish Govt, led by Nicola Sturgeon, that had to pay to cover Alex Salmond's legal costs,

'Outrageous' said some, and 'a catastrophe' said others as the Committee interrogated Ms Sturgeon yesterday that was broadcast life on BBC Parliament. All of it. All eight hours of it, with wall-to-wall media coverage.

Meanwhile, and back in land UK today, the following was announced,

"The government [UK] has settled with former civil servant Sir Philip Rutnam over his claim for unfair dismissal.Sources close to Sir Philip confirmed to BBC Radio 4's PM programme that he received £340,000 PLUS his legal costs. The ex-Home Office boss quit amid bullying claims against Home Secretary Priti Patel, which she denies".

The background? Boris Johnson's standards chief Sir Alex Allan investigated and found of Pritel Patel that "her behaviour has been in breach of the ministerial code, even if unintentionally". Boris Johnson rejected his findings and kept her in post and Sir Alex resigned in response.

So, in breach of the Ministerial Code - but no resignation? £340k compo plus legal cost but no resignation?

C'mon, in the interests of fairness, just how much taxpayers' money in total has been spent settling this Boris Johnson/Priti Patel case? And, where are the banner fvking headlines and demands for resignation about this Tory cover-up - you know - like they demanded for Nicola Sturgeon?

Yeah we looked at this mate but I wanted daily tests and not depend upon so many people deciding which two days to take them and then quickly descend into not bothering.

Also we rolled our programme over a month ago so I bought 30,000 kits up front.

Over £33k so far. And that’s for only 2 of the businesses. The others procure from another buying department as we are separate legal entities.

You know I didn't claim that, SPR. Just suggesting that we might be in the right ball park when nobody seems sure what all that number covers.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey no worries, certainly wasn't saying you were making mad claims. Just looked into the info as I was genuinely surprised by that number knowing what I do about testing.

Dig a bit deeper and that headline number at the top of the site hides a lot of things.

Testing is going better though, getting businesses to do a lot of it for you is certainly a good idea.

The test site the wean works in is going like a fair he can work almost any time he wants

There you go guys, all these billions are helping fund Zach jnr so he doesn't need to tap up dad for beer tokens.

Plan of action:

Get the referendum agreed.
Hold the vote on the 12th of July ( considerable number of unionists away burning pallets)
Scotland wins and is independent
Wales follows a year later
Ireland unifies off the back of Scotland & Wales indy.
In despair the NI/Scottish unionists all move to live on Rockall where they create their own wee country.
Scotland vote to remove the Royal family and become a Republic.
Rockall invite the royal family to reign over them.

Jobs a good un

Just need to win the Euros this summer and independence will pass with an 80% landslide 😂
