English hero stokes mental health

I have told before on here about stokes. I feel sorry for him trapped in English system and now with mental health.

Why no other country like India Sri Lanka Pakistan or NZ have this mental problem but always English player . If I say REAL reason people will not be happy here and no point then.

Even still he cheat against NZ World Cup final I wish him to recover from mental health.

Frankly I think using mental health as a means to wum in just sick. You should be ashamed of yourself.

OK - article is poor, really poor.

Mental Health is serious and I'd encourage everyone to look after it. I've had some close friends and family suffer and it really is not something I'd want anyone to go through.

I'm not sure if it's highlighted more because we live in England, but we do have more England players (as opposed to other countries) who, unfortunately, have took time out of cricket.

Is this due to the demands of the sport, the English media constantly berating performances, time away from family?

I'd imagine the Ashes would take it's toll, the media and fans are all over it and it's a lot of pressure on and off the pitch for a sustained period of time.

Apologies, but I'd rather have a sensible discussion around the subject, rather than using mental health to wum anyone.

Wishing speedy recovery to Stokes and any one afflicted with mental illness.
Technological advancements are unparalleled and life has never been that comfortable but never the world has been subject to such magnitude of mental illness as of to date and I attribute this to living away from nature.
Wake early , work hard, play sports and be nice to every one, the world is at your feet.

Developed countries recognise mental illness as something that should be treated rather than ignored.

As someone who is married to someone who is dealing with severe depression and anxiety at the moment, I find your attitude towards mental health quite disgusting. Her work ethic is so much better than mine but she has had to take time off work because she has been really struggling with lockdowns/restrictions etc as well as coping with the loss of her dad. The mind is so complex and we still understand so little about mental health so it's little surprise that there are people that think others use it as an excuse because they can't be bothered.

I know you're using it as a way to bash Stokes and the England cricket team but don't dismiss the very real issue of mental health as people who can't be bothered.
