"Mental health issues" is such a vague term. I expect that anybody who has lost a loved one has had them. So many other causes too, some self-inflicted. Drug/alcohol abuse, unemployment, lack of self-esteem, unfulfilment in personal or professional life. Many people just have to carry on and do not have the luxury of taking a break to deal with the problems. That would be called skiving. Are the mental pressures greater for an elite sportsman/woman greater than those of someone who has to spend 46 or 48 weeks of every year of their life walking through the same door to work for 8 hours or more. I would rather be running around on cricket or football field for a few hours a day and maybe suffer from a "cold virus" occasionally instead of the "cold bug" that we ordinary mortals get

Why don't we talk about the BCCI not wanting overseas players to play in the KPL league and saying if they do then they won't be allowed to play in the IPL or do work in India. That is the ultimate disgrace for me.

Mental issue is interesting when u look at west society and life style And why it happens mainly in This region. When people have life ways that only involve own selfish goal and not whole community and alcoholic and drug consuming as fun than this is something that happens more and more will
