1. Djokovic - got some special allowance to go into Australia which has some of the toughest measures in the world*. Aussies kick off and he gets rejected and sent to a quarantine hotel.
I have some sympathy for the locals who have been locked down to some extent for 2 years, follow all of the guidelines (90% of the adult population are vaccinated) only to see an anti-vaxxer walk straight in - well that hasn't happened now.
2. Full House at Celtic Park for the Old Firm is a possibility now. Add in the midweek under the lights scenario and we have a potential cracking game coming up. I do not know the ins and outs or who to believe on whether we will have any of our Japanese players available or not.

Whichever way this eventually ends, with either Djokiovic playing the tournament or the Oz immigration minister cancelling his visa again.. it's not a great look for him.
Won this morning on a technicality from what I've read (that immigration didn't give him time to produce documents). I find that hard to believe that his team would've flown in to Australia without the documentation required to back up their visa requirements.. which still leaves me to questio whether he has said docs.
If he does, the optics for him are still bad given he has then broken the law not in Australia, but his own country given he was out meeting kids and having pics taken with fans after getting his positive Covid result.
He's been exposed for the whank that he is to a much larger audience than those who already knew and suspected that he was.

My bad, just read another article on it and it says his team did produce docs to prove he'd returned a positive test in December.. in which case the Aussie Governement/immigration have surely to let him in.
But again, it shows Djokovic in a really bad light given he was busy spreading the disease and breaking the law in the days after his positive test.
Self entitled and selfish whank who clearly feels he's above the law.
