Sorry it's not footie, but it's so important.
We are in a dilemma at the moment moment I think.
If we do nothing militarily Russia will overpower Ukraine, install their own government and rule the country. It will be assimilated into Russia as it was before.
If we do intervene (we the West) we risk Putin authorising tactical nuclear weapons.
So what are we to do? As is so often the case I don't know.
My gut reaction is he has to be stopped, and it could be the correct solution. If we don't it may be Moldava next, then the three Baltic countries. Or it may start WW3.
Is Putin open to negotiations.
It seems to me that we are at an important crossroad in Western Europe.
Do we want libéral democracies to survive, and what are we prepared to risk.
So over to the brains trust. And that's not sarcasm.

He is not going to conquer Europe.
I said we should get involved in some military capacity if a war reaches our shore, not before.
What happens in the rest of Europe, is yet again, and this is important so pay attention, not our business.
But he knows full well he couldn't take on the rest of europe.
So that will never happen.
