Shiiiiiite league

How the hell are we 4th???

Walloped 4-1 at Leicester last week and this week we go fourth.

Absent manager, Son scoring 1 goal in 20 starts (4 in 2 appearances from the bench)injuries galore, disgruntle d fans - yet the rest of the league let us go fourth.

The quality of the rest of the league must be absolutely rancid as anyone who has watched us this season will know we are painfully average and have been carried mostly by Kane all season long.

Baffling

Whatever is currently happening in the PL is what makes it the best in the world. City winning it with 100 points, that's what makes it the best league in the world. Teams dropping lots of points and no one running away with it? That's what makes the PL the best in the world. Teams doing well in Europe? That's what makes the PL the best in the world. Teams not doing well in Europe? Shows how tough a league it is, which makes it the best in the world. Oil murdering and killing of gaaaays whilst also running PL clubs, that's what makes the PL the best in the world. Man City cheating for 15 years, that's what makes the PL the best in the world. Horrendous diving every week, that's what makes the PL the best in the world. Previously it was lack of diving, but now there is diving, it's part of the game. What else? Traditional stadiums with great atmospheres? Keep up! That's what made it the best in the world when it had them, now it's soulless corporate stadiums. That's what makes the PL the best in the world. Good local lads going at it for 90 mins, that's what made the PL the best in the world. BUT NOT ANYMORE. Spoilt players with no interest in the club, only money? That's what makes in the best in the world now. Anyway, whatever is currently happening = best in the world

Chelsea and liverpool have been p!ss poor.

Other decent-ish teams over the last few years are now poor (leicester, wolves, west ham)

Just newcastle who have kicked on really. And spurs have harry kane.

Liverpool and Chelsea played a lot of football last season so there was always going to a drop off.

We look to have a good level of intensity in our play back not to mention some key players so lets see how we go.

Chelsea and then liverpool has the most injuries last season too.

And chelsea have this season.

Doesn't excuse everything but just another reason to add.

Considering we’re supposedly not a threat it’s interesting how much spurs fans are still talking about Liverpool.

The "rubbish league" card is always thrown in when rivals are doing well.

Top 3 aren't bad. Below that it gets dodgy but maybe Liverpool and Spurs might kick on for the rest of the season. Less likely with Spurs.

Entire article based on conceding when Spurs are the third highest scorers in the League and only 4th most conceded in the League.

That's what's got you so far up the table. You'd actually be third if you didn't concede so many and if your defence was City/Arsenal level you'd be challenging for the league.

Classic case of using selective evidence to support your claims and biases.

You've conceded more goals than many poor teams. It's not the league that's sheet.

It's your defence.

How does a sheet league put 1.7 goals past you every single game?
