Meslier Support group

5 - Full support
1- - no support..

3. I’ll support him if he’s going to remain our only choice for keeper - but he should have been replaced two years ago. Three seasons back he was progressing well but he’s now going backwards.

support any man in a Leeds shirt, its that simple.

strong teams aren't just the best players, they are the most together as well.

get behind your team. if Mes does play the next league game, lets have Elland road on their feet shouting encouragement.

absolute disgrace are some football fans

On the Meslier issue: I’ve heard he reads French poetry

French poetry and the Leeds football forum…who would have thought that….what a transformation?!!!
I can speak French too: Prix de L’Arc deTriomphe and
Champs Elsey…now for some French poetry!

Today, Farke doubled- then tripled-down on his
undying support of Meslier. And maintains he is
our best keeper. Even said, Darlow gets the
Harrogate game. Meslier gets a one game rest.
And then the French clown cars back in net.

Un-fcking-believable.

This bloke has a few blindspots. This being the worst.

And like it or not Batty, that is the correct decision.

How can it not be?

Darlow- shocking option. He got more flack after his last match than Meslier!
"But let's try him and see".... we're top of the league on a good run even with Meslier's failings (yes, I admit) but no manager is EVER gonna take such a risk

Replacement needed - not happening. Not gonna spend now going to rightly save their cash to buy what we need when we get promoted. Yes, you'll say if we don't spend we won't get promoted. But if we do just to get there, we then have little left to spend (allowed to spend), and we're straight back down. You seen who's gonna get relegated from EPL this year?

Message to team - "make mistakes and you're out". Never gonna happen with any team who know how to motivate.

So, for all your bluster.... get used to the fact you ain't gonna get what you want. You just ain't.

Dummy is on the floor by the way..... where you spit it out .
🤣

Salonika73,

Darlow played on August 14th versus
Middlesbrough in the EFL Carabao Cup,
in a team that he was one of many
changes. He conceded 3 goals. He hasn't
got a look in since.

Meslier has featured in our first team all
season and dropped clanger (and points)
time after time with no consequence.

Football, IMO, should be a meritocracy.
Unless, you're Meslier playing in Farke's
Leeds United.

Back to Darlow, he's done well for Wales.
He was exceptional for Hull City the season
before he joined us. Why not at the least
see what he can do in goal during a league
game alongside his Wales team mates
and the rest of our now established and
well oiled first XI?

Spurs just signed Antonin Kinsky for £12.5 million
from Slavia Prague. And they threw him straight into
the fire against Liverpool. He's 21.

I say this because I keep seeing price tags of what the
club would accept for Meslier: £15 million plus.

No way on God's green earth are we getting anywhere
near that for him. I'd be snatching the hand off of any
club that offers £5 million. He's not progressed.

Based on that, two things, good keepers can be found
for decent prices, world wide. So why can't we take
the blinkers off regards Meslier and find someone else?

Farke, today was prattling on about loyalty and how Meslier's been loyal to the club. It seems that's Farke's excuse for why he keeps him in goal. In addition to I think he's stubborn with who he keeps in no matter what. Everyone remember
when Chelsea were rumoured to be in for Meslier?

When asked about it, Meslier said he did not want to
leave to go be a back up. He would move to be their
number 1.

That's not loyalty. Farke's full of sh 1 t.

Stats:
Meslier over the last 5 seasons has managed to
prevent -40 goals. Minus 40 goals. That is the worst
in Europe. A staggering stat if ever there was one.

Farke:
He's a top keeper.

If Darlow proves himself - then I'm ok with it. But the criticism of Meslier is shocking...
