When I was 14-16 I travelled Europe with my mum's business partner watching Leeds. A 3 day trip to Greece to watch the 1973 European Cup Winners Cup Final against Milan, culminating in a defeat to a bribed ref in Salonika, was actually a highlight. I vividly remember the Greeks (who clearly realised the ref was bent)lined the roads from the stadium after the match for about 3 miles and stood and applauded the Leeds Fans coaches as we left the stadium. For any 15 year old, this was a night to remember - homage to LU.
