Real are now willing to stump up a fee, understood to be around £5million, to sign him on June 1 so he can join England team-mate Jude Bellingham on the plane for the US-hosted tournament.
I wouldn't take this money. I'd tell him, Madrid and Bellingham to go fack each other instead.
What say you?

How many players have FSG let go that have gone on to greater things?
All those FSG has let go, Liverpool was their best years and we've heard next to nothing since they left.
FSG know when to let go, they've got it right time and again. Coutinho, Wij, Keita, Mane, Firmino etc not offered new contracts or forced to leave and haven't been seen or heard from since.
I expect that to continue.

The difference being that Liverpool were happy enough to let them players go. They tried to keep Trent, but he has made the decision to move on.
Love them or hate them, when Real Madrid come calling there aren't many players that can turn them down. They will absolutely love him in Madrid and I doubt he will be under the same scrutiny regarding his defending. He is going to play in the sunshine with his mate for the biggest club in the world, where he will win some La Liga titles and probably a couple of Champions Leagues as well.
All Liverpool fans can do is thank him for his service and wish him the best.

Also, no chance Trent doesn't succeed at Madrid. Mbappe and Vini will be laughing at the service they will be getting
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I agree 100% that he'll succeed there but I dont think hes a hope in hell there of achieving what he says is his dream, to win the ballon d'or.
Mbappe will score 40 a season there. Vinicius similar. Bellingham is a forward player amongst goals and assists. Whether its right or wrong ballon d'ors are won by the flair players 9 times out of 10. How many defenders have won it this century? Cannavaro off the top of my head.
Ironically he probably had a better chance of winning one with us. Not because we are more likely to win the champions league than real madrid because we obviously arent. But if we did win 1 over the next few years hes more likely to have played an integral part in winning it than he is at real.

Hey Mamba, your LFC boys dont want to play for LFC, when Madrid comes calling they go

how many Man Utd academy players have Real came calling for?
Seems like Man Utd fans are trying to beat Liverpool fans down with the mantra of our players arent good enough for Real Madrid.
Tis a good problem to have surely? that the team are able to produce players good enough for Real Madrid. Man Utds academy stars are being pawned off to Villa!

Yeah tend to agree, harder to stick out in a team of Galacticos even if he steps up a level
Must admit, and I know this is bitter, but Trent leaving and his past justification being a Balon D'Or is just making me want Salah to win it this season even more

Salah is not getting it now I reckon. He needed the CL.

So why are you so annoyed about TAA leaving? By your logic, Liverpool letting go of him indicates he's past his best.
