Calm down dear

Why are people going bat schitt about these injuries - sure it’s not ideal but faaack me some have already given up which is insane.

United are as schitt as we are, they have conceded 53 goals to our 59, they have scored 42 compared to our 63. We are not coming up against some low block masters where without a superstar 10 we are faaacked. The game is far more likely to be decided on mistakes.

It seems clear to me that we will start with Sarr, Bentancur and Bissouma and let Porro and Udogie attack. Bergvall will be on the bench, if we have to chase he can come on and is capable of doing a turn for 20 mins.

As for the Villa game, WHO GIVES A SCHITT? play Doris the faaacking tea lady, Keith the groundsman, Ted the kit man, Chirpy, a fan from the crowd selected at random, Reguilon, Werner, a couple of stewards, someone from the ticket office and the coach driver

Mad that either Spurs or United will be playing in the Champions League at the expense of the team which finishes 6th. That could be Villa

Them's the rules

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Why is it at the expense of a team that finishes 6th? When has a team in 6th ever been in the champions league?

Here’s a question though does a team that WINS a European trophy deserve a spot in the CL over a team that finished 5th in the league?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Quite simply it is not at the expense of 6th - 6th has never been good enough for a CL space and was never good enough before the start of the season regardless of the result of the Europa.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
Just so tired of this we don’t deserve the rewards for the competition.

You think the Spanish media etc was saying Sevilla didn’t deserve it when they won it and finished bottom half of the league table.

It’s just so irrelevant but because it’s spurs suddenly matters

Yeah you know if it was United vs some random foreign team it would be spun like it's a heroic saving of their season

We don't have a 19, so the logical thing is to change shape to accommodate.

I'd go Christmas Tree 4-3-2-1

Maybe Son & BJ behind Solanke, or maybe Tel.

It's a small tactical change that, unfortunately is beyond our current management set up.

So play 2 players that aren't used to that position instead of none? Use a system we've never tried in a cup final?

I think our best option is to go safe to start, then sacrifice Sarr for an attacker if it's not going well. Son probably won't be fit to play 90 minutes either

Vicario
Porro Romero VdV Udogie
Bissouma Bentancur Sarr
Johnson Solanke Son

I think both Sin and Johnson can play through the middle.

If you think play the same with Biss, Bents and Sarr in the middle, I believe you are accepting defeat. Just to passive and are not even that good defensively.

Seen the "thems the rules" arguments from a lot of Spurs fans. Rules do change when they're tested by unthinkable scenarios.

No one ever thought that a 5th place side could win the CL, so Liverpool shouldn't have been allowed to qualify the year after they won it. The rules changed. Let's not forgot that it wasn't too long ago that the rules didn't allow the europa winners to qualify for the CL
----------------------------------------------------------------------
We let the scuum play in it and they’ve been to as many finals as we have despite some years them being the best side in the competition - they are as much a waste of space as we are

You can’t play BJ through the middle, he would give it away constantly.

Son, I don’t know, it could work or it could be horrendous. But I would try it tonight, see what it looks like, the guy is finished in a wide position in my opinion, he just can’t run with any real speed anymore.

I still think Bentancur as the most advanced MF is the answer, he has played there before and he can press - this game will be won on a mistake

You're not suggesting a different lineup though - who's the 3 in your 4321 if not those 3?

You're just lining up the forwards in positions they're not used to. Not saying it couldn't work but I don't get why you'd do that in a final

Appreciate that. My point is it's not a no. 10. In my line up, the two run off Solanke and the fullbacks stay wide.

The middle 3, are as you suggest. So it is a system that addresses not having the 10.
