all the bedwetters quiet for a bit. After a few days of absolute supporter meltdown, Spurs come up with a great result to silence them. The whole team were 10/10 today, as was the manager. Could not fault any of them. They all worked tremendously hard, and absolutely deserved the victory.
That`s a six point start now, two wins out of two, two clean sheets, and five goals scored. Top of the table. Could not have gone any better.
Players are obviously concentrating on the football, and not on all the transfer nonsense. Fantastic to see the focus.
Of course it makes such a difference having practically the whole of the best defence playing. Last season having them missing all together for three plus months, alongside several other players made such a big difference to performances. Still slightly concerned if either Micky or Romeo get injured, then the back ups are not exactly great. But let`s not dwell on negative thoughts. Hopefully injuries will be kept to a minimum this season.
The midfield looks good even without Maddison and Kulu, and there are options even if no new players come in. Up front Johnson and Richarlison are both contributing, and Solanke to still come back in. So not looking that shabby at all.
Overall the team looks sharp, fit and all playing for each other. Couldn`t really ask for more.
Next up Bournemouth. Hopefully another three points.

Yes I know. But you have to wonder why it has not been shown once on their flagship Soccer Saturday programme. In all the years the programme has been on, to my knowledge it has always been shown. Especially as they even showed the Scottish 3rd tier table.

Tactical master class today…. Everything that was wrong with Ange’s spurs in the PL was correct… press was perfect, everyone played brilliantly, Palhinha was a monster, R9 and kudos excellent again anc credit to the full backs both defended before worrying about anything further forward and the decisive line was sensible and allowed city to play into our hands… we looked comfortable for most of the game.
come on Levy…. This is a great platform to build from and a great manager to support… just strengthen the squad for what’s gonna be a long hard season and a higher level of competition
