Can see both sides of it as don’t particularly like players not honouring contracts. Palace gave Guehi his chance too, and it’s not like they were going to get a massive transfer fee. We’ll likely go back for him in Jan, and if not he’ll get a far better contract on a free. In the meantime he could go a long way to helping Palace win their first ever European trophy, and they’ve a decent chance too.

In terms of the squad it’s Quansah out, Leoni in. I can live with that.
