I see Bijol and Tanaka have mentioned to the press they aren't too happy about the lack of minutes so far. Bijol I can understand.
Struijk wasn't great against Spurs - is it time to unleash Bijol? Or do we stick with Struijk for a while longer. Rodon has been fantastic and has taken to the Prem like a duck to water.
I like Struijk a lot, his passing out of the back is superb but he does get beaten on 1 on 1 situations a little too easily although Spurs was his only bad game so seems harsh to drop him.
Tanaka I think will get minutes soon enough, just been unlucky.
Do we start Bijol?
Stick or twist

If we get pumped away at Burnley then yes but like you say, one below his usual standards game in which we were unlucky to lose isn't the time to throw the baby out with the bathwater so to speak and it's part of a professional footballers lot from time to time to have to wait it out to get their chance and as good as Tanaka and Bijol may be the players being chosen ahead of them don't deserve to lose their places so they'll just
have to wait it out.

I don't want players to be happy if they aren't getting game time, but they have to suck it up.
Struijk has always been good on the ball with a question mark defensively, I think he's done alright tbf so Bijol just has to be patient... Pascal was bit unlucky with the two deflections against the spuds.
If everyone is fit Tanaka, for me, was always likely to be used for certain home games only or as impact sub if chasing the game. Great at setting tempo and dictating the play in possession but does he have the physicality for the league? Time will tell, he struggled away from home in the champ last year, i felt.

Against better sides and set piece fc, perhaps we could play 3 centre backs. We have Bornaw also who will play play 20 mins all season at this rate.
