i still think we're a bit lightweight in midfield, still short of a left back, right back, centreback.....

Naaah, Harj, we can beat or hold any side .. plenty goals and plenty points to be had if we just use the players we've got well .. maybe a good signing in Jan to pile strength on strength, but I can see no reason to fear any other side in this league .. it's about supporting the squad you have , build their confidence, y'know.

yeah i agree 740, but its a long season & at some point injuries are gonna take their toll thats the thing that scares me...don't wanna drop out of contention like a stone....

I don't think we will drop out of contention, Harj .. we've Nunez, Forsell, Varynen, all itching to be on the pitch . our goalie appears to be up to the task .. our famously $hit defence .. well that's two clean sheets on the bounce

...and with the promise of more to come...hopefully.., i suppose if we're gonna do owt these next 6-7 games we should get results from before chrimbo...

Our team doesn't maybe have as much flair as it had last year, but that kind of work ethic and organisation we saw tonight will easily have us in the playoffs by May. Very promising, a bit like QPR last year.

Agree with Harj though, if Howson or Clayton got injured, I'm personally not sure Mika would be good enough to replace them, we could do with some extra cover.

This team has played really well this season. Of the matches we'v playd most of them are teams in the top half of the league.. we're gonna get auto promotion. No sweat.

We won't get auto promotion Salonika, nor will we finish in top 6, Bates doesn't want it for one thing and Grayson always lets us slip backwards in second half of season, has done since he took over.

We got 6 games in 18 days, it's going to be a trying and telling 18 days.

This season is Graysons season without Maccas players, as he slowly got rid of'em all.

We'll see if Grayson is worth anything at end of season, but we've only played 10 games so far, lots more left.
