Agree re steady decline in atmosphere, doesn't mean that bates can't try and do something about it though.

Basically you just want to blame Bates. And if it's common knowledge in football circles how come we are one of the only teams in championship to make profits. What we don't do is go into debt to buy players.

How you can defend his pricing when you yourself say you wouldn't go so much if you had to pay fill price is beyond me.

These days even a full ER is a garbage atmosphere. I've been to ER when only 12/15 thousand and its been better atmosphere than last 10/12 years

And regarding finance, we have to sell each season to make a profit despite better than break even gates etc

Yet we rely on freebies and loanees more than most.

A lot of clubs have to sell. Its part and parcel of football.

Atmosphere went downhill since all seating. Would like to see if football could review bringing back some sort of terracing for part of the ground.

I was standing with Posh fans in London Rd end. Felt strange to be doing that again...but felt 'real' !
Don't Championship have to have all seaters now?
Assume Premership wont allow standing?

I know Prem has to be all seater, I thought Championship was as well, I'd love for terracing to be re-introduced.
