Ok so we already know that GAA is up there with UFC but jesus christ even the women are at it !

A ref was head butted in a "ladies" GAA game and someone who tried to help him was savagley beaten aswell.
Is it time for the "sport" to be banned ?
Already some GAA clubs hold political rallys to celebrate dead terrorist's and name trophies after them also, not to mention the fact that you need to be of a particular religon to actually PLAY the "sport" but i firmly believe now is the time to disband this excuse of a sport.
Thoughts ?
farce of a sport or what ?

oh johnny evans obviously you have internet access so a simple search (you are simple after all) would have shown you that the GAA championship is played in ALL 32 COUNTIES in the island of IRELAND hence the term ALL IRELAND plus London and New York so therefore it is actually played in more that one country as a championship and moreso more than one continent, not even the premier league can boast that although it will be played in more than one country next season,London play their home games at ruislip and new york play at gaelic park,a little bit of intelligence would have led you to discovering this but alas you do not appear to have any.

a is all that post deserves godather? surely it deserves an example of the last time a ref was butted in a football game??? you may laugh as you have no evidence to prove it is not a hooligans sport

mxyzptlk:
There is one county who do not field a team in the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship; leaving 31 counties plus New York and London.
Can you guess who?

That's right Jonny, if you google 'referee headbutt' there are no examples of soccer refs being attacked.

So johny a few attacks(very few and were condemned by 99 percent of GAA members) and suddenly a century old organisastion is now a hooligan sport???

Too late.
Its Kilkenny.
Anyway, gaelic football players and fans are hooligans, as are football (soccer) fans and players.
However, hurling players and fans are the salt of the earth........case closed.
