How do we overcome this? We thought when the likes of Sachin, Sehwag, Yuvraj (due to illness) are out of the team then we would gain an upper hand but now India have the impressive Kohli and the improving Sharma and Raina following by man Dhoni. Any other team no matter how flat the track was we would have defended 329 but against India its psychological for sure and has been since 2003 when India beat us in the WC albeit against an ageing Wasim and Waqar.
India have a 80-90% chance of making it to Thursday's final and we will again have the prospect of trying to beat them on a very flat track. I still think our best chance to beat them is to chase even though chasing is our Achilles heel but for Thursday i will drop Azam and bring in Shafiq and drop Wahab (for good) and bring in Rehman. Bangladesh have proven that on these tracks chasing is the best policy and they should have beaten us too in the first one dayer. There is no better team in world cricket at chasing than India so we need to nullify this threat.
BTW this hoodoo is only in the shorter formats as I think we will beat India in test cricket.

Mate we are from the Punjab. Our wedding food has a better strike rate than Kohli's hundred If you go to a mirpuri wedding u have to get there early cos if u have 2nd's or 3rds its normally food from someone's plate that they just chucked back in the handee . We were easily able to beat Indians in 90's inspite of the fact that they had Tendulkar,Azharuddin and Ganguly and Dravid(relatively young) because we had world class bowlers.Today, we do not have a single world class pace bowler.Solution is simple, we need quality quicks..
Note: When we start playing outside Asia, then we will feel the pain of spot fixing saga.

You are right PR. Our pace bowling is not all that. If we ignore Amir and Asif our last world class pace bowler was Shoaib. The fact that we have brought in 2 32 year olds in the last few years (Cheema & Tanvir) says it all.
Junaid has not made it yet depite a promising start and the likes of Talha and Sohail Khan are Indian type bowlers (ie cr4p).

Also, selection has made matters worse.Tanvir got a six for in his first or second test against SouthAfrica on the dead pitch in U.A.E but he has been ignored,Junaid got a five for in his first or second but has not been given consistent run.Pakistan is not renowned either for polishing young quicks, there were plethora in 90's like Mohammad Akram,Zahid,Fazle Akbar,Shahid Nazir,Atta-ur-Rehman but all were victim to Bloody politics.
