'IF' we can bat once, it means we will have the use of a wicket that will do something on the last few days, and Swann looked decent when he tossed it up a bit.
Correction: Target 3 - Lose a maximum of 2 wickets by 100 overs where the new ball will lose it's shine (if they take it)
Dilshan is always due a big score against England. When he gets one the rest collapse.
Can I just remind everyone that England haven't even reached half of Sri Lanka's score yet.
You don't have to remind me JT
Sanga & Dilshan are in such poor form.
They never have good record vs England.
SL bottle under pressure. (most of the time)
By the way ima neutral.
I think England will win this. SL are gifting runs to the England openers on a plate.
Only 2 moments of concern in this inning. A beauty from Randiv to Cook & Strauss edging short to Jayawardene at slip - other than that England have been in total control.
A wicket can change the match but i cant see SL getting 1 never mind 10.
England shud win this despite their terrible 'winter of discontent.'
"By the way ima neutral."
Who do you support mate?
Grande both Dilshan and Sanga scored tons in England last year so are very much capable to resist but at the moment there form is poor.
Strauss is out of the torrid twenties, the twitchy thirties, the fretful fourties and the fearful fifties, now he is in danger of getting complacent.
Onlyw ay i can see England losing a wicket is through laziness/complacency or ill discipline.
That i cant see happening becos England have looked very methodical & very focused & disciplined.
Hard graft out there but they are making it look easy.
Dilshan to Strauss, OUT, 84.6 kph
well thats a suprise - going out to a part-timer.
Guess who's on commentary. Old Nick does it again.
Who said Trott scores too slowly? He's striking at 100!!
This is the key now... 122-0 can easily turn into 140-3 etc.
Judge after a 100 balls - not 1.
Very solid opening partnership.
SL needed a wicket badly but i think its only a breather.
The openers have laid the foundations.
Its up to Cook to go and get the big score (which he will) & Trott to do what he does best.
13 overs in the day to go, can we make it to 125?
The big target is 138 to score over 50% of SL total. 12 overs left. Looking tough.
