and it all stems from the mistrust in politics and the big corps in general, the scandals, the tax evasions the greed etc.

Neither of the candidates will probably. But at least Trump has the wildcard factor
What does that even mean?
Good post Mons, some interesting points. I also think that Trump will win this election regardless of the polls as they count for little. Many people will vote for Trump even if they won't admit it.
Did anyone watch the Paxman programme last night about the US election ? Very interesting.
The electoral college system seems very unbalanced though, that will count in Hilary's favour with Democrat states like California getting such a big percentage of the vote.
Trump won't win. He has alienated too many key demographics (particularly women and non-whites). As far as I can tell Hilary Clinton has been in the lead since the Trump-Khan feud and unless she massively screws up I doubt that will change.

I'd say Trump is more likely to win the "toss up" colleges so don't think it's as cut and dry as you think
California and New York being solid Democrat states and having a combined 84 electoral college votes isn't good news for Trump or any Republican running for office. Trump really needs to win in Florida and Texas.
Who knows? It's traditionally Democrat. Not that I'm claiming to know a lot about this.
Amazing that California gets 55 electoral college votes whereas states like Maine and Delaware get only two or three. People in those states might as well not bother voting seeing as their vote counts for so little.

Population wise it's probably pretty fair
Yeah maybe, I don't know the population of those states. Although I think a straight up vote for each candidate would be fairer.

Is Trump not expected to win NY?

No state that has a high congregation of human capital will vote for Trump. Not enough uneducated white males in New York.
concentration* though I guess congregation works.
We'll give you congregation
