Annoying that we didn't win when we really should have. I think Conte left the subs too long as Pedro and Willian were both shattered by about 65 minutes.

Also annoying that we could get a result in the 2nd leg and go through, I just have no faith that we will pay as well then as we did last night.

Game is a long way off...who knows who we'll have fit or how our form will be, we have City & Utd between

Willian has shown a measurable improvement in performance and tangible goal output under Conte (was good in 15/16 too but a lot were free kicks). Has always had a good shot from 20-25 yards now he seems to actually want to utilise it

Also Barcelona play really slow, I don't think they'll win the CL if that's their plan throughout, no threat on break or in transition. They'd be better with more pace (Semedo/Dembele could have had a field day on our left side imo) and Coutinho back too

Thought pedro nicked the ball a few times to start our counters for willy and edin.

Lastnight just showed me that a striker can help defensively, we needed an out ball desperately. How we would have changed that I don't know but don't think i've seen hazard win or go for so many headers!

That umtiti is clumsy af, would do well to target him second leg.

And paulinho isn't great. Or as I presumed, rakitic.

Could have arguably been sent off for persistent fouling, on a yellow think he commited 4 more fouls.

Really is bizarre though how two teams, both champs of their league can be so different when keeping the ball. We have fabregas, pedro, willian, hazard, chistensen, azpi, alonso, all good footballers, yet couldn't hold onto the ball.

Can only think that Conte's reason for doing that would be if he wanted to watch his own side get walloped in the Camp Nou.

Hopefully sound reasoning prevails and Bakayoko is allowed nowhere near the pitch if he's fit to play.

The only real advantage I can think of is that we'll go to Camp Nou knowing that we have to attack and score goals as opposed to going there thinking that we have something to protect and going into our shell.
