Just seems to me that Facebook/WhatsApp want to change people's idea of what privacy means so that people feel that they have to put their entire lives online for all to see and that you should be available to everyone online the majority of time.

Sidey but don't you think it's right that you should be asked if you want to be in a group instead of just suddenly finding yourself in one without your permission?

Also I don't want everyone to see I'm online. For example someone sends me a message when I'm already online and talking to someone else and they can therefore see I'm online. And now I know that they know I'm online so I feel obliged to reply to their message as well even though I might be in a rush/busy or just not particularly wanting to chat with them at that moment.

That's why they'll be coming here to get the experience

That argument carries little weight with me though when you look at complete rookies Pep and Zidane going straight into the cauldrons that are the Barca and Real manager's job and both doing really well.
