A lot of those international games are not the highest level. The goals are probably against San Marino and the likes.

He belongs at a mid table/fighting relegation club

Ok but same can be said for many of Rooney's international goals. Doesn't mean they don't count. You're always going to play lesser teams at either international or club football.

He just doesn't look good in any aspect defensively once there's a bit of pressure on. It's kinda sad. Definitely regressed.

Nobody said they dont count. Just disputing your point that scoring international goals is at the highest level. It's not.

He is not very good at running at players, but is very effective at crossing.
