I’d love an Ollie Watkins or Danny Inca or bamford at this stage…or dare I say a Tammy Abraham?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The gentleman at Watford...?
Our other big concern is half a dozen players that are similarly lightweight...on a consistent basis, and TT can't get a tune out of any of them really
Digne at least would definitely be a back up because he isn’t getting ahead of Chilwell often enough to keep him happy. Hakimi would play more but still don’t know if it would be enough to keep him happy, James is better and would start most games.
I am being moderately grumpy in my replies, but when the theory of TT wanting him to play in the same XI with James (who'd be RCB) intrigued me. A lot of dynamism on that right side all of a sudden.
Digne would tolerate it for a season if he got a PL medal
We should just go all out for Goosens or Kostic
Even Maatsens and Dujon Sterling would be an upgrade as they can actually run

If Arsenal were better flat track bullies would they not be above us?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Their recent form is better than ours, no?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
And their form could go down the toilet in an instant as Arteta has shown repeatedly is likely under him
Tbf it wouldnt be a Chelsea season without npe encountering doomerism midway through a bad run
Alright, Blarms, I meant of course Chelsea can claw back a 13 point gap and win the league.
Tbf Tuchel does love rotation so it is possible he could make it work with those two. It would be very risky though because he’s built a good harmony in the squad and you don’t want the likes of Digne appearing having won nothing and thinking he’s above it all
Is Emerson injured? Wasn’t even on the Lyon bench today

Goalpost switch, you were saying we’d be in europa next season not complaining about losing the title race

That ship has sailed... retaining top four is well within our reach, ...as are a couple of cups this term
Top 4 and the Man City cup wouldn’t be too bad a return given how December went. Will never rule Tuchel out of a CL win either after last season.

As long as City don't win the CL
Yep, we're a top 4 banter club like the rest of them in London
We'll win a trophy here and there though

If they win it, Pep might leave so City should become less of a force
Very few things have given me as much pleasure as the media's bubble being burst in the CL final last season.
Ah happy memories of us sharing every single podcast we could find
I think Lawro on the OTB pod was my favourite
Micah was annoyingly magnanimous, its probably why i like him as a pundit now
Yeah I wanted a Jenas moment from him
The best is Tifo bottling a podcast entirely and then acting like it was normal and fine for them to skip doing the biggest match of the year because they needed a break before the euros
