‼️ Christopher Nkunku, Marc Guiu, Josh Acheampong and Aaron Anselmino are missing from Chelsea’s live training.

Yeh seems Bayern aren't messing around, but looks/feels like a friendly.

Having forgot about Nkunku, the lack of any transfer news is disturbing, cos this says no one wants him.....and honestly after the usual suspects he is No1 imo for getting rid and to at least get our money back, or that's what I expected

I’m seriously starting to think that about Aaron Anselmino.

Not gonna lie, jumped on and half watched the last 20mins of the first half and saw Bayern score a couple. Started watching the second half a bit more attentively and thought to myself " they must be resting Kane, haven't seen him", saw his number pop up for a sub ......... And realised he was going off!

What you reckon steve ? Seen him linked a few times

One look at him and I just think it's exactly the type of player I'd want to change up our forward play

I said about 3 weeks ago we should make a move 😄

Reminds me a bit of Ibra from his Ajax days, for his movement on the ball for the size of him and the skill he has. Even that aside, i think he offers another element, can play hoof ball if we need it, gives us a very good target man for those high Crosses we can persist with, and gives us more of an outlet from long goal kicks. Think he would offer a lot of solutions for certain games

Many people have said the same about Delap...

Not really sure what the criteria is for a certain specific level of stats to be at before we sign a player. I think bar Osimhen and Gyökeres, not many others have had high scoring seasons, but I cant say we can let that determine how good they would be over the next 2-3 etc

I think it's more about profile than stats though

The German league is wierd

Have they?

Most ive heard talk on Delap think his output was fantastic for a team that was doomed to relegation

Woltenmade plays for an established German side that came safely mid table

I'm totally convinced with delap

The other two mentioned im less sure about. If osihmen thought he could play in the prem he'd have come.

Gyokeres plays in Portugal. He also played for Brighton and never got a sniff

Put delap in portugal or Italy or even Turkey and your talking about the same sort of money

PL is obviously different to bundesliga.

12 goals in PL with Ipswich is much more easy to replicate at Chelsea than Germany-England (see, Nkunku, Werner, Havertz for details).

Relegation teams always tend to fight just that little bit harder than a team that's stuck in the middle that wont go down or challenge for much at the top.

Scored in their cup final, Id say he had a steady season, 17 goals in 33 or so isnt to bad imo.

Delap's signing has had some mixed bag reviews. Mainly positive, and a decent chunk has been negative. But cant please everyone regardless

posted on 15/6/25

Yeah I'd rather delap than mostly any other Bundesliga striker

posted on 15/6/25

I dont agree with any of that Steve

Delap was like 3 goals over his xG and theres loads of clips of him creating his own chances
