Population 83,400 and that was 2009 figures. Again the 1st set of statistics in 2001 , said that Newtownabbey was nearly 6 times the size of Strabane.

Mango

Newtownabbey is part of Greater Belfast and parts of N,Belfast take in N'Abbey electorally,so Alex is a cultured,cosmopolitan like what I am,so it is.

Only messin,as I grew up in Greenisland beside farms Mango.

Well ill be damned. I grew up giving stick to proper culchies from rural Tyrone, now im supposedly the culchie? I prefer the term townie. We have culchies, Townies and Cityslickers, hows that?
