Kamran you go on like you watch every game in every league, how do you find the actual time to do this, games clash, social life etc.?

Also Journalists are paid to watch and write about football, sure loads of them are hacks and it's also about opinion but you're on here lambasting people who are using information from paid professionals to make a judgement on a player, yet we are all to beleive a guy on the internet cause he says he watches loads of football?

He's been around for a while. Why?

Xavi is a great player. But lets be honest if he was in an inferior team such as Italy/Juve, would he be as good as Pirlo, and vice versa?

Llorente scored less than Giroud, assisted less than Giroud, and has been injured a number of times throughout his career. I don't think Llorente has scored over 20 goals for Athletic even though he's never been at another club. Strange

I admire Xavi in ways and what he does, majority of players don't but i still think he is vastly over rated if you take a step back and just watch what he does its nothing special

But if you ask somebody to specificly do what Xavi does then i believe it takes nobody special to do it, look at leon britton ffs and thats at Swansea....

We had this discussion last time. Whenever I'm free (very often), I watch football. You keep going on about me watching other leagues like it's a sin.

Journalists think Parker is a good player. I think the average person knows more about football than most journalists. I find it quite weird that you would even say something like that.

I said they do not break teams fast, but if they played with two fast wingers such as Navas and Pedro, their game becomes more joy to watch as well as effective. Last night they could have gone out on penalties though was lucky to have gone through and now i think Italy would destroy them.

Xavi isn't that creative when compared to the likes of Ozil, Fabregas and Pirlo.
Even Denilson has had 100% pass accuracy in a game before.

I'd take Llorente over Giroud and most Arsenal fans who say they wouldn't of before they bought Giroud will more then likely be telling porkies imo .

If Llorente would cost 30m how ever debatable is Llorente twice the player Giroud is? Doubt it but lets wait and see anyway.

As I said last time if you watch that much football Kamran fair enough (you should get a job as a journo, may as well get paid to watch it if you spend the majority of your free time doing it) but you come across as the higher intellectual on all matters of football and just talk down to anybody who disagrees with your opinion.

And just cause some journalists think Parker is a good player that is hardly a reason to dismiss them all, you're stereotyping an entire occupation based on the thoughts of a few.

There are plenty of extremely good Journalists out there who's opinion are much more valid then a poster on an internet forum.

I said Giroud is better than Llorente before we signed him. Everyone on here knows that I'm not a big fan of Llorente.

Exactly, finally would never say Xavi is anything other then an excellent player but he is some what over rated imo. Not his fault though there are worst players that are. But its all about opinions remember that folks

To be honest, 99% of the fans can't really give a balanced opinion on Giroud or Llorente because they've only seen them a couple of times. If there was another Bilbao v United game and Llorente had the worst game of his life everybody would stop rating him. Likewise, his good performances have seen him overly hyped in England.

Unless you've seen, at the very least, 10 games in which a guy has played, it's really hard to make even the beginnings of a rational judgement.

There amount of stupidity displayed on this article is ridiculous.

Pirlo is fantastic. There are very few players left who can match his ability. Better than Xavi? Overall, it's debatable but this season alone he has definitely been better. I'd go as far as to say he has been this season's best midfielder.
