Murray has no weapons, if he did, he would've won a slam by now.
nitb, even Rosol possessed weapons to dislodge nadal. If nadal can win slams by having no weapons then so can Murray
For me, weapon is a shot that allows you to dictate play, it's usually a serve or a forehand.
In Nole's case, it's his return.
I see it as wider than that.
There are 5 recognised tactics in tennis and being able to identify which one to use when playing is a weapon in itself for example.
Murray has some super shots in his locker, does he always use the right tactic though?
Radwanskas big weaon for example is that she just never makes mistakes, makes her very difficult to play against.
Apparently in her first tournament aged 6 she made 1 unforced error in the whole tournament.
Back to main question I think Nole has the better weapons, great return, huge confidence and very agile.
Nole'e return is definitely a big weapon but even Murray is considered to be one of the best returner. Is nadal not a great returner?
We are talking about weapons here tmf, not shots.
What's the point of Murray's good return if he doesn't attack with his next shot but pushes it back into play?
Theyre all great, i just think Noles return is best of the bunch.
How about inside out forehand?
But not as hot as rafas I'm afraid!

"The outcome is the same you still have to hit winners to beat your opponent."
no you don't. you wait for the opponent to get frustrated and make a mistake. Disgusting tennis.
I think Murray was awesome in 2008 when he demlosihed nadal but since then he changed his game and mentality which costed him few finals and championships.
I like watching Murray's game, fourth set against baghdatis was a total demolition but again he wasted too many bp opportunities which is not a good thing at this level.

I woudl typically say the one who has more slams: Nadal!
However the fact Djoko won 4 of the last 6, it has got to be him now.
No brainer.

Lubo, and it forces you think as why he does not play like this. He could have surely won a slam by now had he been playing like that. Awesome tennis and good to watch as well. Lots of weapons
@Who has more weapons? Muzza, Nole or Rafa.

Firstly it depends what you call as a 'weapon'. Also on how you rate those weapons. For me almost everything a player can do on court is some sort of a weapon, some are more lethal than the others, some work on certain certain players better the the others.
Yep, great video, as many of have said, Murray clearly has talent, just needs to find that final piece of the jigsaw.
They all have weapons...however some neutralise others as games have a tendancy to match up.
Fed's matches up to Rafa's, hense the H2H record, Rafa's matches up to Djokovic's to a degree (hense the recent success for the latter).
Fed can deal better with Djokovic better than he can with Rafa and he seems to have a strategy with Nole which he doesn't always seem to have when it comes to dealing with Nadal. Fed's big problem now is mental toughness - it has started to erode with age, an inevitability
Murray is an onteresting one - his big problem is that he just doesn't do things quite as well as the other three, hense his inability to break through when it comes to confrontation with the above at the business end in GS's.
Del Potro has shown he has what it takes to beat the top guys, but whether he can recapture that form and produce it regularly is another story.
@ and it forces you think as why he does not play like this. He could have surely won a slam by now had he been playing like that.

Absolutely agree, but I think Murray is just too dumb to even figure this out. Almost everyone who watches tennis understands this, everyone .. the only person who doesn't get it is Murray. Its just heights of stupidity, you see. I mean thats the only possibility isn't it? That Murray is just a blinking idiot who is hiding all his super weapons and choose to keep scrapping all over thye court instead? Yes, why else would he choose not play like this 2008 US open semis. Come on.
