Nice to see the England bowlers coming out with this attitude today. We have to work ruddy hard now and I won't mind the Saffers scoring at this rate.

I spoke too soon 2,4 off the next 2 balls

Saffers run rate over the last 10 overs is 1.8 Are they playing for the draw?

2oo for amla now let's hope he goes on to make 350 not out and blow any chance the saffers have of winning this test match. I would be quite happy for these 2 to bat all day, proving this wicket is a waste of time to bowl on. After all, we know our boys are excellent bowlers

the english bowlers are roasterd dry here

The Saffers are now on 465-2 and today is going exactly as I had hoped for. Gorgeous pitch for batting on and England will move onto the second test all square

SA have 3 centurions and England also have 3 centurions, I'd say the match is pretty even at the moment.

The saffers must be gutted that the pitch hasn't changed over the past 3 days. Oh well they have batted and bowled nicely during this match and it will set up 2 cracking matches later on.

Bopara's bowling average 258, Sami is getting very angry.

501 - 2 These saffers are much better than india and australia, aren't they?

I remember when Mohammed Yousuf scored a double hundred in England. Both, his and Amla's innings look the same from stroke play, to playing the ball late etc...

Imran Tahir has not set the world at fire yet and I think they will be better off without him.4 pace bowlers + Kallis. If the match is contingent upon English vs Tahir on 5th day track, then draw is a very safe bet.

Lunch and these 2 batsmen have put on 254. Kallis has made 125 of them and Amla 127. Very impressive batting but our turn will come

Yes, but also England are far far worse than you think they are. What a bunch of pie chuckers, 501-2

Australia drew 1-1 in SA. You are on course to get walloped here. Same old England, always keich at cricket.

You wanna talk about australia? Which format?

One day, one Innings, one Test is not going to change any fact about this English attack. It wasn't so long ago, Anderson was getting Sangakara out for concecutive golden ducks, it wasn't so long ago that this English seam attack was bowling out the SL batting line-up, who score very heavy at home for cheap scores. It wasn't so long ago that this English seam attack for 4 constant Tests ripped through the Pakistani batting line-up on a flat baking track in Dubai. It wasn't so long ago that this English seam attack ripped apart Australia in Australian conditons. This doesn't change a thing in my book. Just sayin'

Which match are you watching? The one where all batsmen are scoring centuries? Your lack of understanding of our great game is always astonishing Dunc

I thought Dunc was English...

Is it true that Amla is fasting while plundering these runs?
