And is every side equal to Bayern? Agreed.

This ref has been abysmal tbf

It's an absolute battering in all but the scoreline. We've had a couple of speculative shots and that's been it.

We've been unlucky with injuries sure but we've signed some absolute trash in the past, and we never seem to really go all out to bring quality players in.

I can't recall feeling this deflated before a season is about to start. I just can't see how we are going to create and score.

All at our level or above going by this

I know it's pre-season but that half was appalling. We are nowhere near being a decent side.

I think this is nearer the mark. I think we're delusional frankly. Everyone insists we've got a good squad but that's probably only based on fees paid. Our spending in the last 7 years or so has been so, so bad. I'd compare it to Everton under Moshiri. They spent a fortune and spent a few seasons very close to relegation.

The sooner we realise that we're back to 90s/2000s Spurs, the better. We're still spoilt by the Pochettino years. Spurs ARE a mid table Prem side. There's no getting away from it. We'd need to change ownership to see any of that change or hope Frank works miracles like Poch did.
