So technically right then?
No Big Joe & No levy
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Well Levy still owns the same bit. Lewis transferred it to his kids years ago. So I think we're both right

If its worth anything, I am more in the same camp as J in terms of how I feel about the takeover.
I accept a lot of Levy criticisms and think he needed a more diminished role. I have far more faith in him (Levy) than I do ENIC.

I don’t think levy could have a diminished part. He’s just to big of a person around the club.
Kinda excited to see if this new order of ENIC will out there money where there mouth is

I'm not being personal here, but it would be moronic to think that the papers and the media have not contacted him to ask him to say what he thinks about the change in the club''s senior management. Of course they have.

Yeah I don’t think he would have accepted a diminished part either. However if he was able to focus only on commercial and infrastructure aspects it would be ideal

Though FWIW I've long advocated for Levy Out of Football operations, there's no criticizing his business acumen. But like Hengy says, that was probably impossible.
I don't see any reason to be negative about what a new leadership structure can achieve on the pitch. Literally all they've got to beat 2 trophies in 24 years

And if anyone cares, I was behind Levy until the Mourinho failure pretty much. I'd get all the scepticism if there was more (any really) that Levy was turning it around

I personally find the last statement reductive.
I really rate Brighton’s leadership structure, for example, but they haven’t won anything. So much nuance.

Also I've said this before and it's what really got to me about Levy, is that it's common in business for leadership to change as it grows. There's very different skillsets required to take something that's barely chugging along and into a period of massive growth, to running a multi-billion pound football club. Clearly. Or we'd have won everything by now. The fact Levy never saw this and had the sense to properly hand over control to people who knew what they were doing was infuriating.
I mean, we had this internal review going on, we had chaos with managers and one of our best ever, homegrown players leaving cos the club was going nowhere, and Levy apparently didn't see this coming?

I'm astonished how calm you people are.
There has been a coup. An actual coup in a football club. The boss of 25 years was given half a day's notice by his son, a goo ner, and people who claim to be doing it for "more wins more often" and who we are told will own the club for generations.
None of this is normal. None of it.
