Wenger has this amazing ability to wriggle off the hook, at 1-0 down, and another defeat looming, it would have surely been the end, instead he gets a stella result and a probable payrise. Unbelievable.

Matt Phillips from West Brom would be a good purchase, I know his not as big a name as Barkley but is very underrated imo.

He plays central as well.

Why do you disagree grandspurs? Barkley would be perfect for Spurs and Poch would turn him into a quality player

Grand i tend to agree, I've never been convinced by him, he may come good i just don't see it my self.

If anything I’d say Barkley is underrated as most people don’t rate him

The trouble is the media cant help themselves when they talk about a player.

Its not just Barkley look how they have hyped Deli up to the rooftops. Yes Deli is a great prospect and I hope we keep hold of him but he is hardly the "world class" player that the media make him out to be. He may end up that good but so far he is a long way from it.
