I hope they've sorted the impact engine! Also off the ball it was easy to block someone's run but impossible to run past them. Mertesacker has to be the slowest defender on the game but the fastest striker gets stuck behind him chasing the ball

I hate the slow response when you do run into another player, I had a little game last night and a player ran into me.

I was on the floor and then the other player tried running over me - fell over .... and won a penalty

Yeah that happened to me but I have turnd handball on and I managed to tackle the other player, fall over and just landed on the ball which was handball and a penalty!
The impact engine is awful, I've seen players do 5 flips in a second and then land face first, it needs sorting but it kind of makes it more fun

I tried the pro Evo demo and it was awful . Last one I played was Pro Evo 10.

I played the demo of Pro Evo. You dont lose the ball every 2 seconds like you do in FIFA. You can actually dribble past people and score without having to be amazing at the game but the negatives of that game outweigh the positives heavily.

Nah 1L that was terrible, you just had players running at you like missiles. If they removed the'contain' button defending in Fifa 12 would be perfect

I used to be a massive Pro Evo fun then it went downhill 3 years ago. I find FIFA much more enjoyable

I'm going to wait for reviews and opinions before buying my copy.

I have to make sure that the referees have been vastly improved. I cant count the amount of points I have lost because of poor refereeing decisions.

I hope they've improved the intelligence of defenders as well. I got sick of them not tracking runs of strikers and just letting them get through on goal.

The impact engine also needs major work. I once saw someone fall on my goalkeeper. When my goalkeeper stood up the player was launched 15 feet into the air and was injured on landing.

Just had a look on the EA website- FIFA 13 will see career mode expanded to include international teams!

If that player was Ramires it is quite realistic, he weighs roughly 15kg

I hope Andy Townsend and Clive Tildsley aren't on it, christ they're annoying!
Love the game tho.

Football games imo should be like arcade style games. A bit of fun. FIFA have taken all the fun out of it by making everything too serious.

I actually prefer the tackling on Fifa 12 - much more smarter and more challenging.
