Unfortunately I think it will be Walcott. Can play wide forward, thru the middle, relatively young, Liverpool fan and almost out of contract. For 8 - 10 mil think he will be at Anfield soon.
I'd rather a more proven out and out goal scorer tho but aren't many out there we could get!
The "realistic" targets are Walcott and Sturridge. However Sturridge will still only join if permanent, and we baulked at the fee for the doing that in the summer. I can't see why that would be any different in January, unless we are really desperate. Walcott's a possibility on a cheaper fee, but would depend on who else was in for him, and if Arsenal would want to keep him until summer.

If thats the case and BR plays Suarez and Borini/sterling wide he can promise that Walcott plays centrally.....i can see that, esp since Suarez is a creator not finisher.

Damiao and Yarmolenko would solve all of our problems up front. As things stand, Yarmolenko is in the last year of his contract so he shouldn't be too expensive either
Some of these names are from cuckoo land. Have you not been listening to the owners? They have said that they will not pay over the odds for anyone and January normally means paying over the odds.
It will probably be someone's 4th choice forward who is desperate for a game and we will get him on loan.

FSG buy him in January!!! I'm suprised nobody talks about him, so underrated. He would definitely be an actual replacement for Torres as he knows where the net is!
