we were awful that day too and still managed to beat them
Chronic, won't be long before the gervinho and walcott are s hit comments start to appear again even had a pathetic arsenal fan call gervinho world class because of 1 good performance i guess kyle naughton is world class now
You beat us 2-1 at the Lane during our 7 point from 7 games start. We beat you 5-2 when you were title contenders
I'm not getting into al this who is better than who nonsense. Arsenal have always finished above Spurs and will do so again this season, by a considerable distance. This is not only my opinion but the opinion of about 90% of football followers all over the world. You ain't gonna change it.
Gervinho and Walcott ARE facking shít. Thankfully Podolski and Chamberlain are first choice, a massive improvement on last season and an even bigger improvement on the dreadful Lennon and Bale.

individual results mean little next to final position in the League table
do you honestly expect, or even think Spurs will finish above Arsenal? because i would happily stake my student loan n Arsenal finishing above Spurs again, and for the foreseeable future!
So it works for you're argument and not for us? You were claiming everton are better when facts are we have finished above them for years now, bore off grand theft auto.....you're just digging yourself an even bigger hole i can agree you have been better than us down the years but not anymore, spurs are on par with arsenal and you know it, you gooners just can't hack it.
Everton have strengthened in the Summer, Spurs have weakened.
Don't click here, why not? We finished 1 point below them and they have no RVP now. I think you are also getting a bit of a knee jerk reaction to Arsenals start, they are not that great and i expect us to push them to the wire just like we did last season, i never said we were better, i said we were on par and that is the truth.
Grand theft auto, i personally think we have strengthened and have a better squad than last season, so no everton are still not better than us.
Don I didn't expect you to bite so soon

have we actually though?
how can you judge.
dembele has the ability to be a fantastic modric replacement and between siggy and dempsey i would like to think you have vdv's goals... (plus they can both play 90 mins)
the thing with arsenal is that they will sell a star player and everyone expects them to fall outside the top 4 but credit to wenger he keeps coming back at his critics with regards to that matter
joely. arsenal have a system. the system is so strong that one player can leave, and an inferior one come into the system, and the team not be affected too much.
they have also finally addressed the defensive coach issue that wenger stubbornly ignored for years and years. wenger is a tool to be honest. if he wasnt such a stubborn git i guarantee that arsenal would have won things consistently over the last decade. instead they get mocked everywhere they go.
Let's get things straight, i never said here that we are better than arsenal. I think we are on par and just as goid as then and will push them all the way this season.
we will be right on arsenals tails this season, dont you worry.
goooners are deluded if they think they are gonna leave us in the race for 4th while they persue the title

i'm not tryin to make a kneejerk reaction based on a win over a newly promoted outfit, i genuinely don't think Arsenal are anything like as weak without RVP as people like to say
they've got an absolute quality player in Cazorla and Podolski's looking bright as well. add that to a solid defensive backbone, as well as the history-despite losing the likes of Fabregas, RVP, Henry, Vieria, etc, Wenger has NEVER failed to deliver a top 4 finish, and one above Spurs
as to your situation, well clearly i'm biased but i do not rate AVB (i wish nothing but failure on the guy, but that's a different story). tactically the guy is all over the place. 'Arry could do do the basics extremely well but little else beyond that. what you'll find with AVB is that he can't do the basics. like organise a defence. or any sort of tactical discipline
imo you've got a very good player in Vertonghen, and i do rate Sigurdsson and Dembele but at the same time they're poor replacements for Modric. on top of that you're stuck with an inconsistent Defoe as your main striker
i repeat, i would happily stake a large sum on Arsenal to finish above Spurs
wenger is a tool to be honest

he has managed to win 3 premiership titles including winning one of them unbeaten (which he has built himself) , fa cup's and has managed to produce teams that play exciting, attacking football! he's obviously no mug

well he is a mug, because after having done all that work, he then preceded to turn himself and his team into a laughing stock due to his inability to listen to anyone other than himself.
this season he has finally listened to every man and his dog who has told him to get a defensive coach, and guess what, they finally have tightened up at the back.
