It wasn't just me then

She's pathetic.

Its absoluely comical. Coming on here with negativity, giving up hope and talking of relegation. How dare we criticize!! I find it quite comical.

I'd understand that if she was consistent in her views but she's bipolar. We win and she's happy as larry and if we lose we're getting relegated.

It's the fickleness I get fed up with.

Having an opinion if fine. Creating an article that talks about giving up on the team shows that the poster is indeed, as Fred points out, fickle.

Maybe if the article came out in the immediate aftermath of a dreadful LFC performance you could understand, but it was in relation to a poor swansea performance! I don't know what is wrong with that old woman's head.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion whether you like it or not...why bother commenting on an article if you know the reaction you are going to get?

everyone is entitled to their opinion, unless the op disagrees with it, is that what you mean??

Everyone is entitled to an opinion no matter how wrong the opinion is.

Everton do look stronger than us though lol!

She can say what she wants if you look at Liverpool's form for this whole year (not season year) then one could argue a relegation battle is very possible.. Comments like just don't watch the team then are probably the ones she can't be bothered with arguing as its a very pointless thing to say... Teams far worse than Liverpool still have fans even teams at the bottom on the conference have fans. Being dejected because poor transfer decisions and poor league form does not make you any less a fan.. Giving up hope in the league after four games is something a lot of Liverpool fans have probably done because realistically we are not going to break the top four and its sickening seeing Everton playing so well compared to us... Does not make her any less a fan for being slightly realistic..

And just for the record Everton are better than Liverpool wake up and smell the coffee finished higher than us last season well ahead of us already this season... She is right stats, form and league standings over the last 12 months prove it...

And my article just got pulled

After the crap I've seen the admins leave up on here about me before and then I criticise the most fickle poster on our board and my article is pulled. I respect the work the admins do but sometimes I wonder why I stick around.

This article criticizes someone who filtered me for telling them to support them team and not give up after 4 games. How can you defend that attitude Suarez? How can you take the side of someone who has given up hope rather than someone who encourages support of the team?

"Giving up hope in the league after four games is something a lot of Liverpool fans have probably done because realistically we are not going to break the top four "

Those fans are the glory hunting fans. The fans who support the team no matter what are those that I can relate to. Fans who give up because we may not get champions league football are not worth my time.

a bit tiit for tat though..

It strikes me as very immature to filter someone (unless they are being abusive). Personally, never have, never will.

Why anyone would create an article, that is obviously going to be contentious, and then go off on one when somebody dares to disagree is pathetic in my mind.

It's not glory hunting saying... I do not think we are going anywhere this season Everton look better.. It's glory hunting taking the advice of people who say if u feel that way stop watching Liverpool then??? That's a glory hunting view saying don't watch Liverpool if you think they are cr@p... Can still think they are cr@p but still watch and support them surely?

posted on 22/9/12

Saying something is cr@p is hardly supportive is it?

posted on 22/9/12

Is it going to hurt the team admitting it on a football forum between your own fans? Going to the game and shouting it is not supportive, writing on the clubs official web site Is not supportive phoning into public phone ins that you know the players listen to is not supportive.. Saying what you think on a football forum amongst your own fans is hardly not supportive... Most teams can admit their team is cr@p when it is.. Liverpool fans take the moral high ground with realism though and call people glory hunters and not proper fans for being honest.. It's been a long and tiresome road and if someone feels dejected now then that's their own prerogative surely and doesn't make them a glory hunter?

Suarez_7 : Does it not occur to you that media types look at forums to gauge fans happiness?

posted on 22/9/12

Suarez, you seem to be responding to me, but using other peoples words to create your argument against me. I never told anyone to not watch the team. Look through the comments....I got filtered for encouraging support of the team. Thats just absolute nonsense.

And when it comes to the glory hunting comments, if as you say, a lot of fans have given up on the team already, then what type of fan are they and how can you defend them?

I don't understand your stance. It seems to be against me for asking we support the team and against me for being critical of fans who have given up their support. Thats a very odd position to take I feel.

And btw, who's called anyone a gloryhunter ? (apart from Wishi saying it herself)

"It's been a long and tiresome road and if someone feels dejected now then that's their own prerogative surely and doesn't make them a glory hunter? "
---------------------------------

No one said it does. You've just made that argument up to suit your own agenda here.

The glory hunting comment first came out in response to YOU stating that a lot of fans have given up on supporting the club because we may not make top 4. Itys nothing to do with other people feeling dejected at results.

How is it giving up on the team by admitting they have no hope of coming higher than Everton???

I could argue that the board gave up on the club this season by not buying a striker and that in turn has set a negative tone that after yet more woeful forward play that's clear for everyone with a brain to see, has filtered onto the supporters...

This negative feeling was created on transfer deadline day and I don't think it's fair to tell people to go watch another club for feeling down.. Open letters to fans and the likes shows who created this feeling and truth be told there are thousands if not millions of Liverpool fans who feel exactly the same way right now and that comes right from the top and as the season goes on if we continue to struggle it will get bigger and bigger.. Hardly a fair platform for a new inexperienced manager to start from really is it...
