Agent Zigzag by Ben McIntyre. True story of the exploits of WWII double agent Eddie Chapman who must have had to carry his cojones round in a wheelbarrow.
(Recommend Operation Mincemeat by the same author)
Biff and Chip's Sportsday is what i am reading... have been for years
I've just got 'Natural Selection'
Yesterdays gone by Sean Platt and David Wright. Horror/ thriller genre
Not long finished The First World War by Hew Strachan. Cracking read.
Seen a book by Graham Maddocks about the Liverpool Pals in the Great War which I'll pick up when I've got the time. Had a great, great uncle who fought in the Kings Liverpool regiment during the 14-18 war so it's of big interest.
By the pool Im reading The Chimp Paradox by Dr Steve Peters. He's the psychiatrist who has helped the British Olympic cycling team get in the right frame of mind.
On the plane Im reading Shaun Ryders autobiography.
1man, what do you think of the Origin of Species? I found it quite tedious
Book in Spanish that roughly translates as "Pockets lined with lead", a history of the Tour de France told through different anecdotes about how the race was created and in-race stories. Great fun, but I don't think it's been translated yet.
I'm currently grappling with 'The Enormous Turnip' by Fran Hunia.
am reading evolution and empire by john william graham publish 1912
Just finished a Dance with Dragons by George RR Martin quality stuff. But I have a feeling even that wont be as intriguing as Volume 2 of the 2nd World War by the great man Sir Winston Churchill himself.

RAP, Jasper Fforde's books are great. I prefer the Tuesday Next series but the nursery crimes ones are well worth a read
