Forgot to add after the match i took my lad round to where the players exit and he got all the players signatures etc Fair play to Cole Skuse who let my son on the players coach to get his autograph and after Nicky signed and had his photo taken with my son Nicky Maynard went to chat to his dad before boarding the coach so thats when i new that the guy who said he was his dad was his dad and not just taking the p p.

Well I took my cat to the vets yesterday and this parrot got talking to him in the waiting room and was telling him that his cousin (an African Grey) lives with Sven and Maynard was round for dinner the night before last and then my bloody cat ate the sodding Parrot I'll never know what was said!

Whatever his 'Dad' says it looks like Nicky is hanging on waiting for that Premier league offer and frustrating the hell out of Keith Millen in the process knowing that if Nicky does get the big one he will have little or no time to recruit with the money this window (a bit like Newcastle with the Carroll money).

Whilst it is understandable that Nicky wants to get the best deal it is getting to the stage where the club is going to suffer one way or the other. Either getting a good deal from a Premier league club and having to go thru to January with loans or seeing him run down his contract and thus preventing Millie from getting on with his rebuilding plans. Its getting to the stage where if Nicky can't make a decision then the club will have to.

Not so sure why BCFC fans want him to stay so much when all he's going to do is leave for free?

He won't sign a new contract because if the lad has half an ounce of ambition he will want to play for a bigger, better club. BCFC are not going to get promoted, anyone believing they will are deluded. You're miles off being a promotion chasing team, surely NM can see that?

I can't see a Prem team coming in for him (Everton and Liverpool ha ha, you are joking I hope!!). I don't think he's good enough for the Prem at the moment either, there is a huge difference between the Champo and PL and I just don't think he's good enough yet!!

Mate we didn't have a problem scoring goals last season our problem was keeping them out. In fact we scored 14 more than you and 5 more than QPR but our defence was one of the worst in the league

There is no guarantee that we will go up but we have more chance than you and if Maynard joined we would have even more of a chance. We created chances for fun last season and we have a lot better players now, we will still score loads of goals with or without Maynard!!

After Nicky said on Bristol City player he wants this sorted sooner rather than later I think It's more likely his agent telling Nicky not to sign rather than Nicky himself not wanting to sign having said that his dad said he would stay with Bristol City but didn't say he would or would not sign. I can only put up what was said it's now just a waiting game...

Unlike you we don't need to rely on one person to score nearly all of our goals, we had the highest number of different scorers in the league last year, there's plenty to go around without having to rely on Vassell and Nugent!!

And anyway Nugent scored 35 in 93 games for Preston and Maynard has scored 37 in 98 for you, not a lot of difference there the only real difference is Nugent is younger and good enough to have played for the U21's and England!!

In my opinion I think Maynard is overpriced and I don't want us to spend anymore than 3 mill on him, I'd rather have Yakubu, he might be lazy but he's better value for money, a better quality player and will score more goals!!

Please sign yukubu then and tell sven to stop waisting his and our time.

Maynard clearly doesn't want to play for Leicester - Wish BCFC well and long since time for LCFC to move their attentions elsewhere

Whether Maynard leaves now for 5 mill, Jan for 3 mill or at the end of the season for nowt, he will still leave BCFC so you'd better get used to the idea!!

I genuinely couldn't care less if we (or someone else, or no-one else gets him) but you have to admit that it doesn't make much sense for the club to fail to get his signature on a new deal and effectively throw 5 mill down the swanny and let him walk for free, how can that be good for business?
