For Torres's sake I hope he goes to A Madrid, and becomes one of the best strikers in the world again.

Does need to stop fluffing his lines ASAP, but otherwise has been turning in some decent performances.

Having Torres in our squad is not the problem, but having him as our main striker is. The problem is that Torres sees himself as the main striker at any club, despite the fact that he he not good enough for the role...

Mata is allowed to miss sitters as he scored 2 goals, was MOTM and ran the game. Torres?

I have to say part of me agrees with this, he should at least have composure in front of goal for £50m. I don't care if he plays utter rubbish for 88 mins but puts away the two chances he gets. In games like today he is the opposite, not what you want in a lone CF. Look how cool Mata was for his finish a couple of minutes after Torres bottled the shot through on goal. It just worries me that players like Mata won't always be there to clean up when Torres does this. That being said he has been doing well this season so he has earnt himself some time

Trouble is Torres has been with us coming up for two years...................Hazard and Mata have already done more the club in a fraction of the time, so your attempted counters are total bollox...

Nobody has got any patience with Torres anymore Oscar. Rightly or wrongly, it's fair enough to have lost your rag with him.

I think a lot of the people here are quite sick of the excuses for Torres now, probably never again in my lifetime will I see a player at Chelsea given so many chances by the fan to come good. I feel sorry for Torres I want him to be one of the best again, even if that is outside of Chelsea.

Torres IS NOW A 50-50 PLAYER.

He will be very good in some games and very poor in others. That is fine for a squad player, but not for a 50M LEAD STRIKER.

The Torres articles are starting to get very redundant. Either he'll leave an impression by January, or i'm pretty sure we'll blow our finanicial load on Falcao. That's all there is to this really.

I HIGHLY doubt, one way or another, this'll be a problem after February 1st next year.

It's not even about the money, I actually think because we payed £50mil for him he has benefited with the extra chances he has been getting. If we payed £10mill for him, hee would have been dropped and sold looooooong time ago.

Agree with MO. It is 50-50 nowadays. Torres is amazing one game then average the next and on and on. Need consistency. Although the dressing room effect of losing Torres would worry me
