I'd still love to see this though
Oscar-Mikel
Mata-Torres-Hazard
Falcao
With the way Torres seems to play these days that would work perfectly. And with Oscar in the holding role as he always seems to be playing there anyway he breaks up play, wins the ball back and retains possession so good.
We were crying out for another striker in the box today when Torres kept doing all the work in the first half and putting balls and crosses in the box where there was barely anyone in there
He is putting crosses in the box when he should be inside the box.
Once again good outside the box, but he is the poorest striker I've seen play for us in ages inside the box. His movement inside the box or better said lack of movement inside the box is extremely disappointing he stands in one spot expecting the ball to hit him in the foot or something. He won't get easy goals like Sturridge's if he is not moving and trying to beat players inside the box and he is awful when he needs to think about how to strike a ball at the goal.
Still boggles my mind how we decided that he should be automatic first choice at CFC
I thought he played well today, but his finishing just isn't clinical any more, like it was at Liverpool. He seems as if he either takes one touch too many or too long to pull the trigger. As an experienced premiership player, he should know by now that you just don't get allowed the sort of time that he seems to want to take to decide what to do.
What I find weird is how his confidence wades in and out during even 90 minutes. Nearly all top players can still look to better themselves and price themselves when the going get's tough, but t the start of the game Torres looked sharp and confident, with some good dribbles. Then one or two misses later he's quite static, he's knocking then back instead of shooting...when he's got his confidence he is very good (like against Newcastle) but it's almost a lottery having him up front.
Chelsea are second to barca
Torres was shít Only Gallas and Walker played worse than him
Oh shut up. He was fine you deluded half-wit. Its people like you who make me lose faith in humanity. Morons on here.
The hypocrisy of NPE has no limit
Torres is the weak link in an almost perfect team, ironically, he occupies the most important position. Saddening.
There's no most important position, only most important players.
Roman bored with him yet ?
