His head is up his ass he prefers to post pictures of himself posing topless on twitter than working hard in training...
A Pre-Madonna that loves himself more than anything else...
Exactly the type of player we could do without...

Anyone would think you didn't like him
I don't like pop star football players... Specially the ones who clearly lack the talent and dedication to back up their big time charlie attitude.. Enrique is a player who falls into that bracket
By all accounts he's struggled a lot more at Liverpool due to not having the protection that Gutierrez gave him.
Pre-Madonna.
I don't think he's been awful to be honest.
People slate him no matter what and won't even give him credit for the pass that set up the goal.
I like him.
Speaking of full backs, when is Johnson back? Liverpool really miss him.
Darren, I think most people on here weren't born early enough to know what it was like Pre-Madonna...
But on the main point, I actually thought the Newcastle game was his best performance in quite a while. Although it's in "vogue" to slate him.
A Pre-Madonna ....,,,,,,,

Surely he's not old enough to have been around before that old bint.
Seriously though, I feel that our fullbacks don't get the protection or assistance in the Rodgers formation. Sterling and moreso Suso, when they start don't give the full backs the help in tracking back. Lucas missing is also a problem.
Biglaa
Enrique was pretty good yesterday to be fair.
He is indeed a relic from the Pre-Madonnaic period.
He's doing his round on the revolving scapegoat system
He definitely isn't on the form he was for the first 6 months but the reaction to everything he does that doesn't work out is way over the top at the moment
He's been decent but below par from what we saw intially
he is 1 of a few LBs in the PL to give Valencia a good game, would like to say based on his current form that Valencia will get the better of him when we meet at OT later on in the season but Valencia hasnt been in good form either
He's improve his attacking play but is still struggling defensively.
He had an injury at the beginning of the season, if his last three games are anything to go by, he's slowly getting back to form.
HE'S BEEN INJURED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So what you guys saying?
Madonna modelled herself on enrique???
Enrique the fall guy has I've been on fire with Sally Field,
Gone fast with a girl named Bo,
But somehow they just don't end up as his....
Blown up for raquel welch, and he's also the guy who made redford and eastwood look so fine!!
He has lacked form since his injury and Rodgers doesnt seem to trust him...
but i thought he played well on sunday both defensively and going forward.
Enrique is not as bad as some would have you believe. He's struggled for form and confidence, but certainly not effort. He's a bull when he's fit.
Problem with Enrique is going forward he is hopeless, as is his passing. He used to be a good defender but his game is caught in two minds. For me he will be never be nothing more than a backup leftback.
Back up to who...??
he is our only left back really if you dont count the very young Robinson.
Johnson is our best left back.
If Kelly was fit we could play him right and Johnson left.
Both being injured is the current problem.
If Enrique's only job was to defend, he'd be ok.
But as the system requires the full backs to attack, he fails cos he plays with his head down and his passing is very poor (with exception of the Suarez goal which I am sure the whole of Anfield is still puzzeled how he pinged that pass!)

Nonsense. It the past two games alone, going forward he has created numerous chances. He created one for Sterling, putting him through one on one in the Everton game and he created for Suarez against Newcastle, who scored.
We know he's a great player, we've seen it. The problem is, we've also seen the dodgy side of him. All we need to do is back him, as he slowly gets back to form, and he has been.
Playing Johnson at left back takes away a massive part of our game overall. He has to play right back. Enrique left back.

I completely agree with that.
When he lost form, he continued to hold the ball and run in circles shielding it but with lower confidence, he wasn't able to pull it off and he struggled. He now has went back to basics, defending and passing the ball without trying to take on the whole left side and he's getting back to where he was.
I don't understand some of our fans on here, they jump on our players at the slightest dip of form.
