We've watched worse teams than this one over the years sure we had it good recently but it's still spurs against the gooons

I'm off to find a rope

Half the team is injured, the selectons by AVB (and I have backed him fully thus far) are getting stranger by the minute
-
replace half with 80%, and AVB with Wenger and you have us. best of luck.

Even if Spurs were winning with 10 minutes to go, we all know the outcome, almost certain defeat. The team has no mental strength these days, and I am fully expecting the team to roll over to a pretty average Arsenal side, if the truth be told. Too many of the players are just happy to take the money, and not put in a full shift.

and swap arsenal and tottenham. we have lots in common, lets bum <bum>

How can Arsenal vs. Spurs not interest you...?! Regardless of form, league position, etc... It's still the NLD

I have seen the best part of 100 and the last few months, and they always did interest me, but I need the players to start showing some passion. The modern game frankly does my head in now, no loyalty, it is getting so predictable with Spurs now, the team is nowhere near full strength agreed, but they cannot roll over so tamely like they did at City last weekend, its not on, but we all know in our hearts they will.

Messiah

I know we have watched worse teams than this over the years, but that is just the point, there are some good players at Spurs, but they need a kick up the arris, just going through the motions is not my idea of busting a gut for our club. They need, and have to show more passion.

"All form goes out of the window in the derby; we’ll go out there to play for the fans and try to go out for a victory.

"You step onto the pitch and feel the atmosphere around you. It’s a great day and hopefully we’ll come out on top. The lads concentrate on the game and try to treat it as just another game, but we know how important it is for the fans."

I just cannot see us winning though, not the way the team has been peforming the last few weeks, Capitulalted in the last 25 minutes against Chelsea, capitulated in the last 10 minutes to Norwich in Carlign Cup, shambles against Wigan, and capitulated again last 10 minutes to City. Nothing about the team fills me with any confidence of getting even a point tomorrow. If we do, then fair enough, but just cannot see it. We all know AVB is going to pick both Gallas and Friedel and play just one up front, and we all know those combinations just are not working.

When Parker is back we will have our "English grit" again that makes us so popular with the press! We will be the darlings of Premiership entertainment once again!

wotcha Sandy you old dog ...come kick off tomorrow you will be filled with that old trepedation, and you will have the urge to see the mighty Spurs crush the Nomads. Stop being grumpy and start believing, we are better against strong opposition

I reckon im quite good at spotting your subtle wummery and bait dangling, but this post has me wondering if you mean it

Scotty Parker, good family man....

I just wish he spent a bit less time with them and a bit more on the bloody pitch

Evening mate, no this is definitely not a wum article, I really am fed up with the attitude of the team, and their ability to keep shooting themselves in the foot, and not being able to keep a clean sheet, hardly fills me with confidence. They may surprise me, but I doubt it. I have a feeling there may be some trouble in the camp, hope not, but all the signs are there. The goalie situation for one has to be one of the strangest ever.

Sandy ...they need a rocket up them for sure ...it does smell of disharmony in the camp, lets hope its just a general malaise that will pass

Is that not the definition of a plastic? We aren't doing well so I'm not going to watch. So, if you guys get on a patch of form (which to be honest I think you will) or say get to a cup final, would you not watch then? Thick and thin mate, as a supporter you have to be there

Double Double Double....

Oh yeh sure I am a plastic, I have been watching Spurs for 57 years now, so I think I can say I have done my bit, and if I fancy not watching them tomorrow, I think I have earnt that right.
