So uv never really liked him but fair play to him for being nice about rangers in his last article?
Shocker
No but if they point him out as a chancer then people will pay closer attention to his dealings rather than let him run the club into the ground
====
he was the maj shareholder ffs, he could do as he liked with the club no amount of press stories or whatever would have changed what craig whyte did.

Ok ignore my point and ask a different question.
I'd say Graeme Speirs. We all know who his team are but it doesn't distort his reportings.
They really could have, the media is a powerful tool.
U dont think that if they had pushed him as a chancer that murray might not have sold up? Or that if he was outed he wouldnt be more cautious about being found out.
But nah, why do that when you can quote "wealth of the radar"
"Who was your source keith"
"Eh... Craig whytes pal"
"Sounds legit, go with it"
Hilariously p.ish standard of journalism
I'd say Graeme Speirs. We all know who his team are but it doesn't distort his reportings.

the same man that lied on camera on Scotland tonight? the same man who admitted to "lifting" stories from RTC?
I've never liked him on a personal level keny, no!
Whats your issue with him?
Spiers is heavy handed with both the old firm theres just been more to go on for rangers
Il tell u one thing, u wouldnt get zidane to rangers p.ish from him.
Again, no basis there just absolute rubbish wtf
"I'd say Graeme Speirs. We all know who his team are but it doesn't distort his reportings."
This is why the Zombies hate him.
Murray was referring not only to the Kenny Dalglish/Jim Kerr
consortium who are stalking Celtic, but also the as yet
uncovered groups who are bound to make bids to buy out
Fergus McCann.
If the past 10 years have taught Murray, who is one of Britain's
wealthiest individuals, anything it is how to win and he believes
Rangers will continue to grow and prosper.
"I look upon these last 10 years as a having been a great era, but
it is over and Rangers are about to head on into a new era," he
said over a glass of the finest red.
He was about to take in another mouthful of the most succulent
lamb - anyone who knows Murray shouldn't be surprised to learn
he is a full-blooded, unashamed red meat eater - when he put
down his knife and fork.
It was like a statement of intent and looking directly across the
table to make sure I hadn't yet succumbed to the wine, he said:
"Bring on the next 10 years, there's more to come for Rangers.
"Understand that I care passionately about what I'm doing with
Rangers and believe that in 10 years time we will still be setting
the pace.
Gary - your point was "glad he's gone, let's hope some truth tellers are around"
I asked who.
You replied with Graham Spiers - who has been scrabbling for a fortnight to try to check to see if he actually called Rangers cheats....
He is a nice guy personally, but he would admit privately that he got swept along with the tide over the Rangers events.
My opinion is that there is no such thing as a completely unbiased reported, in any subject.
And in football, it is magnified by the smallest comment one way or another.
The fact that Traynor has chosen to take a massive swipe at those who got the BTC completely and utterly wrong is fair enough - those to whom he refers have been swiping at anyone and everyone for about 2 years now.

Hes an awful journalist sutter thats it, him and the rest of the sensationalist red top media who print utter garbage without a quote or without anythin other than "understands"
U dont think that if they had pushed him as a chancer that murray might not have sold up? Or that if he was outed he wouldnt be more cautious about being found out.

keny murray had proof of funds from collier bristow that whyte could afford the club, from that point of you what could the media do? should they have forseen that the subsequent takeover would have been part of a criminal investigation into alleged fraud?
ye keep bangin on about wealth aff the radar. in a way this article was right as there was no wealth
journo's will print stories to sell papers for how many years did they print about celtics blue chip signings and eventually you got robbie keane
they need to sell papers sometimes artistic license or being economic with the truth is the best way.
i don't think you would ever find a journo who hasn't put a slant on a story to sell it
Keny - recently, it has to be said, the vast majority of the "utter garbage" has been proven to be coming from the self declared biased bloggers - even those who claimed to have special access....

You will be hard pushed to find me taking anything phil or rtc said as fact. I read his book its 50% information and 50% one sided opinion. Rubbish apart from the appendices.

Traynor is spot on about the state of Scottish media. It's a farce compared to organisations down south, full of lazy, talentless, arrogant individuals basking in Z list celeb status. I've experienced it first hand.
