jackson article on whyte was nonsense, complete nonsense and all it done was lure the rangers support into a false sense of security
===

if anybody reads a red top and doesn't take it with a pinch of salt then hell mend them

does anybody actually believe what is written in the media?

FFS we have just had the biggest investigation into press standards, phone hacking etc.

for the media its not about truth its about sales, getting the most readers/ subscribers

I fail to see anything that Traynor has said in this article that you can argue with.

Just arguing for the sake of it.

You all got it wrong - RTC, Phil McGullible, CQN, Speirs, the rest of the media and every fan on here who said we were guilty before the verdict.

And yet NONE of you (save Subs on here) have apologised. It wouldn't take much to do so, and nor will it make a difference to our plight...but it would be a start.

I've lost a lot of respect for people over this, and it will take a long time before my bitterness to those who indulged in sticking the boot into us fades.

Fck youse all basically

That's hilarious speirs is the source of unbiased truth?

As mentioned before he was caught lying on live tv only a few weeks ago. He has been caught sourcing stories from websites that have now been proven to be written by bitter, bigoted fantasists.

Trfc

There u go then, ur saying hell mend people for believing it but saying their chief is a good journalist?

Sutter

Points of this article i disagree with are the sporting integrity dig and him (aye him of all people) questioning anybody elses level of journalism.

United have been drawn at home to The Rangers in the Fifth Round of the William Hill Scottish Cup. The tie is to be played on 2 or 3 February 2013.

What a parting shot ?????
Your having a laugh right
Actually didnt mind Traynor but he comes off in his signing off piece as bitter and smacks severely of sour grapes. The majority of the article is exactly what he states he is not going to write
You can picture the petted lip as he typed

Murray was referring not only to the Kenny Dalglish/Jim Kerr
consortium who are stalking Celtic, but also the as yet
uncovered groups who are bound to make bids to buy out
Fergus McCann.
If the past 10 years have taught Murray, who is one of Britain's
wealthiest individuals, anything it is how to win and he believes
Rangers will continue to grow and prosper.
"I look upon these last 10 years as a having been a great era, but
it is over and Rangers are about to head on into a new era," he
said over a glass of the finest red.
He was about to take in another mouthful of the most succulent
lamb - anyone who knows Murray shouldn't be surprised to learn
he is a full-blooded, unashamed red meat eater - when he put
down his knife and fork.
It was like a statement of intent and looking directly across the
table to make sure I hadn't yet succumbed to the wine, he said:
"Bring on the next 10 years, there's more to come for Rangers.
"Understand that I care passionately about what I'm doing with
Rangers and believe that in 10 years time we will still be setting
the pace.
___________________________________________
I don't get why the celtic fans are so upset over this particular piece. If the lamb was the most succulent he has ever tasted, then why is it wrong for a journalist to report it as such. SDM is evidently a very good host.
