1 match ban enabled....Please be mindful of the fact it is cross tagged.

This is good. Very good. Bit weird that its on a Wednesday though - 3 days early.

The BWFC board have a very good poster that does our matchday articles for every game so I think most BWFC fans would post on that on Saturday.

I'm sure I speak for all of us in welcoming you to join us on that thread come Saturday.

Also, Chris Eagles is a winger, not a winner! Very important mistake, that.

Champagne - nice summary so 5 stars.

We don't often get match threads across boards, so hopefully it will remain good banter.

Cheers Rowbot

Important to put this up early to draw a line under the shambles that was last Saturday and get ourselves looking forward again!

Also gives fans a few days to gently banter and pull out a few stories of previous meetings and memories of visits to each others clubs

Aye, it's a good idea, Champagne.

I think both teams would like to forget about last weekend ASAP.

Nice one Novak...5 pork pies from me mate...

Indeed, time to move on from Saturday. I think we all (me included) need to step back a bit and just accept what our target is this season. 28 points in 20 games is a great start and if we carry on it will keep us in this league...the number one objective.

We've all got to dum down our expectations...up the noise levels and ignore the mistakes. The JSS has become a flipping therapy centre for some folk to get rid of their anger and stress..We don't need that, surely for 90 minutes we can hold back this stuff and all get some proper support going...Darn is so upset he's gone 'walkabout', we'll probably never hear from him again..and he's a bonza geeza.

6-0 Town ...

if beckford and vaughan play..

and Ward doesn't

and Norwood is back to form.....

and Smithies

and all the others too

Did you get a browser that doesn't accidentally take you to the complaints page?

So then lads, any fond memories of trips to Bolton. I remember going there on the first day of the season in the early nineties and them scoring after about 30 seconds

Supermarket in the away end?!

Burnden Park! Think I was at the same game, Bruce Rioch was their manager, they also copied our stadium!

We went to the Reebok and John shires sat next to us, we paid £5 for the parking only to find cars parked at the back and front of us so we couldn't get out!

Also my sisters E reg escorts struggled like feck to go back "ova tops"

***escort *** not escorts, she's no pimp.

I remember going to Leeds Road every season in Divison 3 between 1988 and 1992. At one match, a Bolton fan climbed the floodlight pylon. The police were all around the base, when one decided to climb up after him.

The game was forgotten for about 15 mins while both home and away fans cheered. Can't even remember the score.

I remember playing Bolton every season too in the late 80's early 90's, great occasions, plenty of away fans at Leeds Road, how many you bringing on Saturday?
