My logic? My logic is that Diame had cut the link off from midfield to attack and carried the ball forward whenever he had it, making West Ham a bigger threat offensively.
I'm not sure how that equates to Jose Enrique, who did nothing, would have inspired his team to a 3-0 lead if he didn't get injured.

We can all agree that Shelvey's red card vs United had no outcome on the game. United would have won anyway, Liverpool fans felt victimised over nothing.
Liverpool 1st half possession = 67.6%
W Ham 1st half possession = 32.4%
Liverpool 2nd half possession = 59.3%
W Ham 2nd half possession = 40.7%
Source: Sky Sports
When did this domination, pre Diame going off, happen?
West Ham territorial advantage 55.6
Liverpool territorial Advantage 44.4

Liverpool 1st half possession = 67.6%
W Ham 1st half possession = 32.4%
----
West Ham - 2
Liverpool -1
Liverpool 2nd half possession = 59.3%
W Ham 2nd half possession = 40.7%
----
Liverpool - 2
West Ham -0
Even with less dominance Liverpool manage to score two goals...only after Diame going off.

redrob,
There is no guarantee that red card changed the game. For all we know, if Shelvey stayed on Liverpool could have played worse.
Just like they could have lost 5-0 when Berbatov dived for that penalty. For all we know the United team felt bad and decided 1-0 was enough
And you only managed to score 2 goals only after Enrique went off. So we would have actually won 1-0 if both stayed on.

Yeah..if you say so, Redrob.

The only stat we do know is that Liverpool won 3-2.
And Spurs beat West Ham 3-1.

Yes, I know what your point is, I am just emphasising it because pretty much every week we hear 99% of Liverpool fans saying "what if" after every match as if there is some sort of conspiracy against them.
For all we know, every time Liverpool hit the crossbar, Suarez doesn't get a pen, Downing fails to get an assist, and Skrtel presents the ball to opposition strikers, it never had an outcome on what would have been an even worse result for Liverpool.
So stop moaning in the future when all of these things inevitably happen AGAIN
The only stat we do know is that Liverpool won 3-2.

The only stat we do know is Spurs stadium plan is still a jpeg.

I said 99% for a reason, because I knew you would deny it
Ok Will Shave, If Carzorla hadn't dived on Saturday West Bron would've battered Arsenal 4-0.
Sorry just doing what 99% of us Liverpool fans do .
