not sure about Jones... yet,
but he is young. Fergie shifts him about too much imo. He needs a run of games at CB really regardless of who is or isn't available
dont know if you can remember a player we had in the 90s called Ronny Johnson. Jones is like him.Good in Midfield or CB but not a world beater in either position.
----------------------------
What? Johnsen was a superb CB. Absolutely class. Reminded me of Paul McGrath.

yeah i do, he use to be an norway international.
I had wondered, this article confirmed it

back on topic guys, discuss this the off topics in the devil's head or tavern.
Paul McGrath was united's best ever CB. RJ was good... but not that good.
Ps... he's not math7 but he is obviously somebody else with a new identity
No he's not the Pokemon guy

Yeh, not as good as McGrath, but similar in style. I thought Johnsen was top drawer though, just couldn't stay fit for long enough. He wasn't bad in CM, but I really liked as a CB and I thought that when he played with Stam, Neville and Irwin, it was the best defensive line-up I have seen at United.
Ruiney were you on the old 606 aswell?
