Good to hear you still alive earl. Im an old bbc 606er,so ive sort of known ya for 3/4 years. Originally i was nigelsbignose and walkingupthedonegalroad. Wonder what ever happened to all the old crew, mark the glenman, yeboah, not forgetting Frank to name but a few, good when there was about 20 of us on regularly discussing anything but football generally. Frig the bbc for scrapping it....w@n©ers

Sad about brodie....very true. He did go on about sweden in 58 and that night in valencia ,but hell he was just bloody right. God bless you Malcolm.

to be honest guy's this board has fallen apart - trolls on both side spoiling it for the majority of good posters.

Sound familiar?

^^^^^^ i agree to a degree GAWA. Trolling and generally annoying your rivals is and always has been part of the game. Many sing songs with words they dont mean. I once head that up to 50% of old firm fans return home to their partners after the match after singing

posted on 31/1/13

its one thing to annoy your rivals but it become just the usual topics with the usually people on the wind up. Take a look through and you will see people having a go at fans of their own teams for talking about football.

posted on 31/1/13

about their hatred of what is their partners religion.but a good mix of football debate/banter and trolling makes for a healthy site imo

posted on 31/1/13

im all for a bit of banter and debate. But sometimes i feel it get's lost on here by things getting out of hand.

Did you know one of the NI posters was in the top 10 of the most complained users on this site? I have never complained about anyone because i don't feel the need for it but you can make what you want from what i said in my last sentence.

Gawa, i think there is room for all types. If its just football on the pitch you want to discuss then open the article ,discern the contents, comment or move on if its not your bag. I use sometimes to pretend im a bit bitter, its like i have a 606 alter ego.

I know who you speak of. Darren ,one of his original user IDs is a complete wind up,once you get him he is quite witty and in reality he is probably `dead on like`

posted on 31/1/13

aye but if i want to open an article to talk football i shouldn't be criticized for it. I stay away from what i don't want to get involved in.

Also the fact the NI team is not pulling up any trees doesnt help the board.

posted on 31/1/13

I totally agree with whatever you said

posted on 31/1/13

Please feel free to talk about the original post by the way i do mention mcginn and mckay our potential new forward line

posted on 31/1/13

it wasn't that complicated haha

Yea i laugh at Darren sometimes but cringe aswell sometimes. Im sure he is 'dead on like'.

Strabane
Yes i remember you well and remember the old wind ups. Hope youre both keeping well !!

By the way you can check the original BBC pages through my old home page

http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/606/U4795698

Some beauties in there

To be honest this site is 10 times better than the BBC but the downside with a lot less people around the Northern Ireland / Republic sites.
Tend to stick only to the Leeds United pages now.
But then I always did have taste.

Dirty Leeds i think you will find is your clubs real name Earl.is bates finally fooked away off?

posted on 31/1/13

You should support norwich now that they have all your decent player

posted on 31/1/13

It is Super Leeds to the unrefined.

And unfortunately that leech Bates is still around. Different owners but same leader.
Its because of that gabshite that our best players are at Norwich now. Or Leeds reserves as we like to call them
