Think they compliment each other. Both have different abilities which make us more unpredictable upfront. They can play together allthough for me Welbs looks jaded and tired.

Alexis desperately needs a rest too.

You've got to be objective.

For 2 long, long years Giroud has been the worst striker to play a full season for Arsenal - bar none.

But this season, based on the little we've seen, he looks a much better prospect. Not saying he's definitely turned a corner, but looking far more determined and efficient than we've seen from him before

Giroud will retire at Arsenal a club legend

To be honest, don't really care who we play or don't play anymore. Won't win the league or CL under Wenger, so I just try to enjoy watching us.

Because he has some competition maybe?

Giroud is not better than Welbz, FFS

But certain games require a different approach. Yesterday we needed the style Giroud excels in. Same for Stoke. Other games Welbeck will be better.

Some games we should just put both on.

Hopefully it's not just that he's come on against poor opposition when we are already dominating possesion and managed to look good.
