i agree, but their league form suffered a lot, which is what i don't want at arsenal.
i don't want us to be known as a good cup team but regularly finish 6th/7th/8th in the league. it would be embarrassing. and we've already suffered enough embarrassments in the last decade.

once messi and ronaldo retire in a couple years, it will be a closer playing field again tbh.
don't think they will have an era so dominant again for a long while.
Samir,
I don't think any of the managers you listed are a realistic target for us, apart for Benitez obviously. I'm not too fuss about not considering him when we were looking for Wenger replacement.
At the moment, maybe Emery is the safest option and who knows, maybe a new breed of managers will appear in 2-3 years time.
Interesting reports doing the rounds a few weeks ago that Pep has verbally agreed to join Juve if Man City are banned from Europe for multiple years.
Will they give Arteta the job if that were to happen? Doubt it. I think he may well be the next big thing with more experience.

Overmars extends to 2024 at Ajax.
So who's next on the list?

No one better for the job
That should have happened years ago if it weren't for the man's enormous ego.
