Giroud was a good servant for Arsenal as well. To have him only upfront was the problem. He adapted well his game to the Arsenal way to play under Wenger.

Giroud, with his playing time at Chelsea is unlikely to be fit for the Euro. Instead of moving on and trying to bring new strikers, DD persist with him

Even if Laca wasn't injued, he wouldn't have been called. We all know this.

As for alternatives, why not calling Dembele (Lyon)? England are giving their youth some minutes to prepare them ahead of Euro 2020 and the WC, which make sense.
But DD persisting with Giroud and Sissoko (who btw played 90 minutes yesterday is just ridiculous.
